About the Role
Zello is seeking a hands-on Senior Product Manager to lead a significant cross-product initiative focused on unifying the consumer and Zello Work product lines to optimize for enterprise growth. This role is crucial for expanding Zello's product team's capacity to handle multiple large initiatives simultaneously.
Responsibilities
- Lead the strategy and execution for unifying the consumer and Zello Work product lines, from problem framing through shipped milestones.
- Run multiple complex workstreams at once, maintaining clarity, quality, and follow-through.
- Partner with design, engineering, and data teams to translate ambiguous problems into shipped product.
- Engage directly with enterprise customers and senior stakeholders to understand underlying problems and guide conversations toward outcomes.
- Prioritize across Android, iOS, web, and backend to focus on high-impact opportunities for users.
- Set an example for problem framing, discovery, and decision-making.
- Coach other PMs on the team.
- Utilize AI tools in daily product work and explore new AI integrations for the team's operations.
Requirements
- 7+ years of product management experience, including leading initiatives from inception to completion with minimal oversight.
- Demonstrated ability to set direction, identify high-impact opportunities, and provide clarity in ambiguous situations.
- Experience leading with the problem before the solution, involving stakeholders early, and acting with urgency.
- Proven ability to build strong customer rapport and manage enterprise buyers and executives, handling pushback effectively.
- Willingness to perform detailed product work, including understanding decisions, tradeoffs, and details.
- Fluency in software development processes, with the ability to reason about feasibility and tradeoffs with engineers.
- Ability to push back against consensus when it compromises user outcomes.
- Capacity to uplevel team members by asking better questions.
