About the Role
The Director, Enterprise Transformation drives high-priority, cross-functional initiatives from launch to completion, embedding with business owners to transform ambiguous challenges into integrated plans, business cases, financial models, and sustainable operating practices. This role accelerates decisions and delivers measurable enterprise value across business units and corporate functions.
Responsibilities
- Drive assigned initiatives to completion against defined success criteria, outcomes, and timelines.
- Own the weekly operating cadence, integrated work plan, milestones, dependencies, deliverables, and escalations.
- Hold action owners accountable for agreed dates and quality standards without formal authority.
- Contribute directly to analysis and work products to unlock progress.
- Transition completed initiatives into sustainable normal-course processes, controls, and operating rhythms.
- Structure ambiguous problems into hypothesis-driven plans with clear scope, deliverables, owners, timelines, dependencies, and decision points.
- Build business cases, financial and scenario models, and current- and future-state process maps.
- Quantify costs, benefits, ROI, trade-offs, resource requirements, and control points.
- Produce concise, decision-ready materials for Executive Leadership.
- Partner with Finance to track and validate realized savings and business value against the original case.
- Maintain initiative risk and dependency visibility, monitor health, and surface blockers early with a clear ask, options, and a recommendation.
- Flag resource conflicts and trade-offs across initiatives.
- Contribute to portfolio prioritization based on urgency, business risk, strategic importance, value unlock, and execution readiness.
- Align senior leaders, business-unit operators, corporate functions, external advisors, and the change management team.
Requirements
- 5–7 years of progressive experience in operations, finance, strategy, or transformation, with a track record of owning measurable outcomes in a business setting.
- Hands-on operating experience with direct accountability for a business metric, departmental budget, or P&L, including forecasting, variance analysis, spend approval, and cost control.
- Demonstrated ability to turn ambiguous problems into practical plans by building business cases, modeling financial impacts, mapping processes, and identifying dependencies and blockers.
- Strong financial acumen and modeling capability across P&L, cash flow, budgeting, forecasting, savings, ROI, and scenario analysis.
- Proven ability to lead complex cross-functional work and influence senior executives and peers without formal authority.
- Exceptional written and verbal communication, including concise executive materials and clear, candid escalation of issues and recommendations.
- Preferred experience in operating companies, management consulting, corporate strategy, restructuring, transaction advisory, FP&A, or high-growth business operations and strategy.
- Experience in sports, entertainment, hospitality, venue operations, live events, food and beverage, multi-site services, or investor- or lender-backed environments is a plus.
- Builds credibility across operators and executives, translates between business units and corporate functions, and moves competing priorities toward clear decisions.
- Operates independently with sound judgment, a bias to action, and the candor to hold leaders and teams to outcomes, dates, and quality standards.
- Rolls up sleeves to shape the work, pressure-test assumptions, and turn analysis into repeatable practices that improve performance and create measurable value.
- Assigned initiatives meet their completion criteria and definitions of success on the agreed timeline.
- Blockers and dependencies are escalated before they delay the work, with an ask, options, and a recommendation attached.
- Business cases, models, and process maps are trusted by executives and Finance and are used to make decisions.
- Initiative Leaders and Executive Sponsors report that the Director materially accelerated and improved the work.
- Value created is validated against the business case, and each initiative transitions cleanly into normal course.
