About the Role
Join a caring team in a unique environment within inpatient psychiatry at Four Winds Hospital in Westchester, NY.
Responsibilities
- Collaborate with the Director of Health Services, consulting physician specialists, staff psychiatrists, primary care providers, and outside consultants to develop appropriate healthcare plans.
- Conduct medical histories and physical exams upon admission and for episodic medical problems for adults, adolescents, and children during inpatient stays.
- Teach, counsel, and assist individuals to ensure responsibility for illness prevention and the promotion, maintenance, and restoration of health.
Requirements
- Current NYS certificate as a nurse practitioner in family health.
- Valid DEA number and unrestricted DEA license.
