About the Role
Atlassian is seeking a Principal in Strategy and Business Operations (SBO) to partner directly with the Rovo and AI organization. This high-impact team drives strategy, growth, and business operations, owning projects from inception to execution and delivery. The role supports leaders in Atlassian’s central AI platform team, building foundational infrastructure for the Future of Teamwork across Atlassian’s Collections.
Responsibilities
- Map fast-moving innovations in the AI space to impacts on company-wide priorities and roadmaps
- Drive strategic and data-driven decision-making through thorough analysis, research and insights
- Lead and manage key operational processes for long-range planning, short/medium-term plans, and OKRs/frameworks
- Own and drive business reviews to inform Rovo & AI leaders and the executive team of progress against operational plans
- Collaborate closely with cross-functional stakeholders, including product, sales, marketing, data science, and finance teams
Requirements
- 8+ years experience in high growth software/tech industry in BizOps and/or consulting, investment banking roles
- Comfortable with ambiguity and take a structured approach to decision-making
- Strong executive presence with excellent verbal & written communications skills
- Use a range of AI tools to materially accelerate your own work
- Deep sense of ownership and a desire to run independently
- Intellectually curious and genuinely excited about technology
