About the Role
Lead the software platform and the team that builds it, reporting directly to the CEO. This player-coach role involves owning the product roadmap, influencing company strategy, and managing a team of three (Senior Product Manager, Senior Technical Product Manager, UX Designer). You will be responsible for product strategy, execution, and ensuring high-quality delivery, leveraging AI aggressively.
Responsibilities
- Own the software platform roadmap: sequence bets, define success, and make tradeoff calls.
- Partner deeply with the CEO on product strategy, bringing recommendations grounded in customer insight and data.
- Lead and grow two PMs and a UX designer, holding each PM accountable for outcomes and project management.
- Coordinate across front end, integrations, and data, resolving priority and capacity tradeoffs with the CTO.
- Build a product process that keeps pace with an engineering team shipping 15x faster, using AI to deliver quality on a predictable cadence.
- Stay close to enterprise customers and turn Sales and Customer Success feedback into roadmap decisions.
- Own product metrics (adoption, retention, attribution, revenue impact) and drive measurable improvement.
- Partner with GTM teams on launches, and lead product planning as we expand into new industries.
Requirements
- 8+ years of product management in enterprise B2B SaaS, including 2+ years managing PMs.
- A track record of owning a roadmap at a fast-growing company, with shipped outcomes.
- Experience building enterprise functionality such as roles and permissions, multi-account hierarchies, admin controls, and reporting.
- Strategic judgment: connect product bets to revenue and retention, and defend tradeoffs.
- Mastery of product fundamentals (discovery, specs, prioritization, agile delivery) and the ability to teach them.
- Technical depth across systems, APIs, data, and integrations, sufficient to challenge estimates and scope realistically.
- A history of building operating rhythm and accountability in a team without adding bureaucracy.
- Experience working closely with a founder CEO who is deeply involved in product.
- Deep, daily fluency with AI in your own product work.
- Evidence of having overhauled a product process with AI, with measurable gains in speed or quality.
- Clear, concise executive communication.
