About the Role

Barton Creek Country Club is seeking a Full-Time Dishwasher to join their team. The role involves maintaining cleanliness and sanitation standards within the kitchen and dining areas, ensuring that all necessary utensils and equipment are clean and readily available for service. This position is crucial for upholding the club's commitment to exceptional service and hospitality.

Responsibilities

Promptly and carefully sort soiled ware for dish or pot machine operation.
Quickly wash all ware and replace in designated storage areas.
Keep dish machine properly cleaned and filled with water per hotel standards.
De-tarnish and polish silver for proper appearance.
Clean kettles, tilt skillets, pots, and pans promptly and completely.
Comply with attendance rules and be available to work on a regular basis.
Transport and clean cooking utensils and service ware.
Maintain kitchen work areas and restaurant equipment and utensils in clean and orderly condition.
Sweep and mop floors.
Wash worktables, walls, refrigerators, and meat blocks.
Separate and remove trash and garbage and place it in designated containers.
Steam-clean or hose-out garbage cans.
Sort cardboard boxes and put through bailing machine.
Wash pots, pans, and trays by hand.
Scrape food from dirty dishes and wash them by hand or place them in racks or on conveyor to dishwashing machine.
Run glasses through dish machine twice.
Understand OSHA regulations.
Put away and rotate stock.
Put away all clean utensils and stock in designated areas.
Maintain personal hygiene.
Perform any other job-related duties as assigned.

Requirements

Minimum age requirement of 18 years.
Must have a valid Food Handlers License.
Maintain cleanliness of work area at all times.
Strong customer service orientation and skills.
Excellent safety and sanitation skills.
Create courteous, friendly, professional work environment.
Must be able to lift up to 50lbs.
