About the Role
The Delivery Driver II is an experienced driver responsible for safely and efficiently delivering products to customers, building strong customer relationships, and representing the company professionally.
Responsibilities
- Assist Shipping and Receiving with loading the truck.
- Ensure load is properly secured.
- Perform pre-trip inspection (reefer, temperature, and DOT truck safety items).
- Safely drive to destination.
- Unload correct order.
- Interact with receiving individuals in a professional, positive manner.
- Verify refrigeration temperature and security of load at each stop.
- Accurately complete paperwork (bill of lading, SQF documents, logbook, and vehicle inspection report).
Requirements
- Exceptional tractor trailer driving skills.
- Great customer relationship skills.
- Skilled in the operation of a power jack.
- Has a safety-first mentality.
- Committed to careful product handling.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
- Efficiency minded.
- Ability to maintain a DOT Medical Certificate.
- Must be able to safely perform the essential functions of the position, with or without reasonable accommodation.
