About the Role
The Talent Lead – Operations & Business will shape and drive hiring strategies for Relay's non-tech organization, acting as a key TA partner to hiring managers. This role involves consulting on best practices, sharing insights, and improving the talent acquisition function to bring in top talent that aligns with Relay's culture.
Responsibilities
- Own end-to-end hiring, managing the full lifecycle from sourcing and outreach to offer.
- Serve as a trusted partner to senior stakeholders, building relationships with Business and Ops Leadership and People.
- Create sharp JDs and scorecards.
- Keep pipelines clean in Ashby.
- Coordinate smoothly across hiring managers and agencies.
- Produce high-quality candidate packs and interview kits.
- Expertly use the ATS.
- Track and act on key TA metrics.
- Keep stakeholders clearly informed.
- Spot bottlenecks, propose fixes, and implement changes to improve speed, quality, and candidate experience.
Requirements
- Proven track record as a Senior Recruiter or Talent Acquisition Lead.
- Background in hypergrowth startups or scale-ups.
- Structured, clear communicator with strong stakeholder management.
- Data-driven mindset, using metrics to prioritize, iterate and improve outcomes.
