About the Role
Window World is seeking a full-time Service Technician responsible for servicing previously installed windows and doors, measuring new orders, and handling smaller installation jobs to ensure customer satisfaction through professional workmanship and timely issue resolution. This role includes the use of a Window World-provided service van.
Responsibilities
- Travel to customer homes using a company-provided van to diagnose and resolve service-related issues.
- Measure windows and doors for ordering.
- Troubleshoot product or installation issues and complete repairs with minimal need for follow-up.
- Maintain a clean, professional work area in customers’ homes and in the service van.
- Complete all necessary paperwork, including service reports and customer acknowledgments.
- Coordinate with internal teams to ensure timely and efficient resolution of service tickets.
Requirements
- Experience with window and door installation or service is required.
- Experience measuring.
- Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent communication and customer service abilities.
- High attention to detail and pride in craftsmanship.
- Valid driver’s license and clean driving record.
- Ability to lift heavy products and work in varied weather conditions.
