About the Role
Allied Risk Management is hiring Weekend Security Guards in Queens. This role involves monitoring premises, responding to emergencies, and deterring theft to ensure client safety and asset protection.
Responsibilities
- Monitor and authorize entrance and departure of employees, visitors, and other persons to guard against theft and maintain security of premises.
- Write reports of daily activities and irregularities such as equipment or property damage, theft, presence of unauthorized persons, or unusual occurrences.
- Call the police or fire department in case of emergency, such as fire or presence of unauthorized persons.
- Deter/prevent theft
- Secure designated areas
- Patrol areas for suspicious activity
- Report daily activities
- Respond to alarms
Requirements
- NYS Security Guard License
- S-60 Fire Guard License
- OSHA 10 or 30 Certification (for construction)
- Valid Drivers License or ID Card
- A working phone with the capabilities of downloading apps needed for our time and attendance platform.
- People with a criminal record are encouraged to apply
