About the Role
Allied Consultants, Inc is a proudly Austin based firm with over 34 years of experience delivering top-tier technical and business professionals within Texas State Agencies. We are currently seeking an experience Fiber Optic Network Technician to play a key role within a high-impact technical services team.
Responsibilities
- Knowledge of design video, data, and voice communication systems.
- Oversee the installation and maintenance of these systems, including their repair and testing.
- Performs complex network work and works under general supervision with moderate latitude.
- Proficient in conduit bending and installation.
- Understand fiber optic networking and fiber optic components.
Requirements
- 8 years of Telecommunications experience.
- 8 years of knowledge of data/voice termination of 568B.
- Must own telecommunications termination / testing tools.
- 8 years of Telecommunications Data and voice to include fiber optic (Preferred).
