About the Role

As a Client Solutions Consultant for Orbital, you will identify, develop, and close new revenue streams beyond our core marketing client base by bringing Orbital's AI-powered capabilities to new sectors, buyer audiences, and use cases. This is a net-new business development mandate focused on acquiring new logos, entering new markets, and generating new revenue streams.

Responsibilities

  • Identify and pursue new revenue streams for Orbital outside the core marketing ecosystem, including new verticals, use cases, and buyer audiences.
  • Contribute to and execute Orbital's commercialization strategy, adapting the global playbook for new markets, buyer behaviors, and regulations.
  • Prioritize high-value net-new verticals, segments, and geographies for market entry and expansion.
  • Develop pricing and packaging models for new markets and buyer types in collaboration with legal and finance departments.
  • Establish go-to-market processes and sales playbooks, including prospecting frameworks, pitch decks, demo flows, objection handling, and proposals.
  • Collaborate with the Marketing team to ensure campaigns and positioning effectively reach new buyer audiences.
  • Source, qualify, and close new accounts by building pipeline through outbound efforts, network activation, and inbound leads, measured by net-new logos and revenue.
  • Negotiate commercial deals that balance customer value with sustainable terms.
  • Represent Orbital at events and conferences to build brand presence and demand among new audiences.
  • Leverage your network to accelerate entry into priority markets and strategic net-new accounts.
  • Own the net-new revenue target (quarterly and annual) and maintain rigorous pipeline discipline, including forecasting, tracking, and CRM hygiene.
  • Report pipeline health and performance to leadership, identifying and resolving commercial blockers.
  • Drive internal awareness and adoption of Orbital by educating teams on its capabilities and supporting colleagues on net-new pitches and strategic opportunities.
  • Lead demonstrations and enablement sessions, serving as a primary spokesperson for Orbital and promoting AI adoption across the organization.
  • Negotiate partner agreements and build a partner ecosystem to contribute to net-new pipeline and revenue.
  • Develop thought leadership and a strong professional profile through speaking engagements, panels, LinkedIn, articles, and podcasts to enhance Orbital's credibility with new audiences.
  • Build relationships with senior industry leaders, partners, analysts, and innovation communities relevant to new revenue territories.
  • Track competitive dynamics, regulatory trends, and procurement behaviors in target markets, providing insights to Product, Marketing, and leadership.

Requirements

  • Background in management/strategy consulting or SaaS sales with a consultative, solution-selling approach.
  • Demonstrable experience opening new markets, sectors, or buyer categories.
  • Comfortable being the first commercial representative in an unfamiliar vertical.
  • Proven track record of building pipeline from scratch without an established playbook.
  • Entrepreneurial, self-starter with an international mindset.
  • Energized by building your own territory with autonomy.
  • Keen interest in AI.
  • Curious, high-energy, and ambitious.
  • Flexibility to work across different markets and stakeholder types.
