About the Role
Responsible to prepare and deliver coursework in engaging, innovative, and discipline-appropriate ways that reflect a commitment to the college's core values, an understanding of culturally responsive teaching, and knowledge of the teaching field. Meet professional standards for faculty in accordance with college policies and procedures.
Responsibilities
- Teach courses in accordance with the schedule of classes and follow the approved course descriptions and syllabi.
- Teaching assignments may be on one or more of the college's campuses or off-site locations and may include evening and weekend programs.
- May include Dual Credit courses.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
- Perform all duties and maintain all standards in accordance with college policies, procedures and core values.
Requirements
- Master’s degree in the discipline/qualifying field or a master’s degree in any discipline with 18 graduate hours in the discipline/qualifying field.
- Teaching experience is desired.
- Candidates should expect to perform duties on-site.
- ALL applicants MUST attach a copy of their qualifying transcripts.
- Conferred transcripts, licenses, and certifications MUST be attached to the application.
