About the Role
Witt Sensoric GmbH, a European leader in safety sensor technology for industrial gate systems, is seeking a (Junior) Team Leader for Production. This role involves leading a team, ensuring timely and economical production, maintaining high quality standards, and driving process improvements within a growing technology company.
Responsibilities
- Lead subordinate employees, including capacity planning and feedback discussions.
- Ensure timely and economical processing of production orders.
- Maintain and ensure high quality standards.
- Collaborate closely with order planning and approve production orders.
- Oversee maintenance, care, and safe operation of production equipment and manufacturing facilities.
- Provide daily reporting in SFM and analyze production-relevant key figures.
- Define and implement corrective actions for deviations in key figures.
- Implement occupational safety guidelines and conduct required training.
- Support work preparation and development departments in introducing new products, equipment, and processes.
- Identify and implement improvements.
- Independently implement Lean activities.
Requirements
- Completed apprenticeship as an Electronics Technician for Devices and Systems, Industrial Foreman, Technician, or equivalent.
- Several years of professional and leadership experience in production.
- Knowledge of the physical and electrical operating principles of the product spectrum.
- Good knowledge of assembly, soldering, potting, and packaging processes.
- Independent and responsible project work within manufacturing.
- Knowledge of workplace design and ergonomics.
- Good knowledge of MS Office applications and relevant production programs in the ERP system M3.
- Team player with good collaboration within production and with other departments.
- Good organizational and coordination skills, high social competence.
- Reliability and trustworthiness.
- Quick comprehension and problem-solving skills.
- Economic thinking and action.
