About the Role
This role offers an excellent opportunity for early-career professionals to engage in both architectural and interior design projects, executing pre-design, design development, construction, and completion phases.
Responsibilities
- Assist in the development of architectural and interior design concepts.
- Incorporate architectural and interior design considerations to meet client briefs, budgets, and timelines.
- Develop designs considering technical aspects, codes, standards, and best practices.
- Prepare detailed drawings using 3D modelling, Revit, and other design software.
- Prepare client presentations using graphic and design software.
- Assist in the selection of materials, finishes, and furnishings.
- Prepare drafts of material specifications and schedule of finishes.
- Participate in client meetings to understand design preferences and provide project updates.
- Collaborate with senior team members to coordinate project activities.
- Assist in project documentation and tender preparation.
- Conduct site visits to monitor construction progress and ensure adherence to design specifications.
- Stay updated on industry trends and best practices in architecture and interior design.
- Work closely with consultants from various disciplines on design and technical matters.
- Perform other project-related duties as required.
Requirements
- Minimum 4 years of relevant experience in architectural and/or interior design roles is preferred.
- Experience in healthcare interiors is an advantage.
- Strong attention to detail.
- Good verbal and written communication skills.
- Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
- Organized, meticulous, enjoys problem-solving.
- Creative with good aesthetic judgment.
- Possesses sound industry knowledge.
- Takes initiative, works methodically and autonomously.
- Good time management skills to meet challenging deadlines and client briefs.
