About the Role
As part of the Inventory Control team, you will assist in the development of the Manufacturing Execution System for a cutting-edge photonic hardware lab. You will manage MES projects, model workflows, maintain the system, and enforce inventory control policies. This role requires close collaboration with various teams to understand their needs and provide robust MES solutions, potentially involving direct interaction with lab equipment and sensitive materials.
Responsibilities
- Ongoing development of our MES and its modules
- Managing user requests for MES improvements
- Modeling and updating MES workflows based on production and R&D needs
- Enforcing and maintaining inventory control policies within the MES
- Generating inventory reports for the finance department
- Occasionally handling sensitive materials and equipment
Requirements
- 1+ years of experience with Manufacturing Execution System development or implementation
- Proficiency in MS Office Suite/GSuite
- Exceptional interpersonal and time management skills
- Proven ability to prioritize multiple projects and requests effectively in a fast-paced environment
- Self-motivated worker able to carry out tasks and complete daily mission-critical checklists effectively and consistently
- Highly organized with a meticulous, detail-oriented working style
