About the Role
This role offers an excellent opportunity for early-career professionals to engage in both architectural and interior design projects, executing pre-design, design phases, design development, and construction completion.
Responsibilities
- Assist in the development of architectural and interior design concepts.
- Refine design concepts, incorporating architectural and interior design considerations.
- Prepare detailed drawings using 3D modelling, Revit, and other design software.
- Prepare client presentations using graphic and design software.
- Assist in the selection of materials, finishes, and furnishings.
- Prepare drafts of material specifications and schedule of finishes.
- Participate in client meetings to understand design preferences and provide project updates.
- Collaborate with senior team members to coordinate project activities.
- Assist in project documentation and tender preparation.
- Conduct site visits to monitor construction progress and ensure adherence to design specifications.
- Stay updated on industry trends and best practices in architecture and interior design.
- Work closely with consultants from various disciplines on design and technical matters.
- Perform other project-related duties as required.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Architecture, Interior Design, or a related field.
- Minimum 4 years of relevant experience in architectural and/or interior design roles is preferred.
- Experience in healthcare interiors is an advantage.
- Well-versed in design, CAD, and 3D modelling software and technologies such as AutoCAD, Rhino, SketchUp, BIM software (Revit), Enscape, Lumion, Adobe Creative Cloud, Microsoft Office.
- Familiarity with Revit is essential.
- Strong attention to detail.
- Good verbal and written communication skills.
- Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
- Organised and meticulous.
- Enjoys problem-solving.
- Creative with good aesthetic judgement.
- Possesses sound industry knowledge.
- Takes initiative, works methodically and autonomously.
