About the Role

Join the Smoothie King team as a purpose-driven Assistant General Manager to become an ultimate ambassador of our brand. This role focuses on creating a highly productive environment by building a motivated team, ensuring an extraordinary guest experience, and balancing corporate priorities through strategic, operational, and leadership excellence. The successful candidate will demonstrate curiosity, a willingness to take on new challenges, and a desire to develop additional skills to support the company's purpose.

Responsibilities

Assist the General Manager with hiring, developing, and leading the store team to provide a great guest experience and fulfill the mission to inspire healthy and active lifestyles.
Utilize operational tools such as Profit and Loss Statement, Daily Business Review, Cash & Deposit Log, and Data Central for scheduling and inventory management to achieve operational excellence.
Review store environment and Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) to identify and address problems, concerns, and opportunities for improvement in partnership with the General Manager.
Manage all cash activities for the store, including daily deposits.
Ensure compliance with food safety guidelines for the store and all Team Members.
Promote brand standards in alignment with the company vision.
Maintain store appearance and cleanliness consistent with Smoothie King brand standards.
Drive implementation of company programs through action planning and inspiring the team to meet operational standards.
Assist the General Manager in developing local store marketing plans to support brand initiatives, including community outreach through marketing and special events.
Collaborate with the General Manager to deliver the best smoothies and healthy retail products to the community.
Provide an exceptional guest experience throughout their visit.
Act with integrity, honesty, and knowledge that promotes the culture, values, and mission of Smoothie King.
Act with a customer-comes-first attitude and connect with customers, discovering and responding to their needs.
Maintain regular and punctual attendance.

Requirements

Basic knowledge of Microsoft Word and Excel.
Ability to communicate effectively with customers, team members, and the community, both orally and in writing.
Ability to work the hours needed to run your store effectively, which might include a variety of days, evenings, weekends, holidays.
Knowledgeable of general POS functionality.
Experience with OSHA, EEOC, and other federal and state laws and local statutes.
ServSafe Certification.
