About the Role

This role focuses on driving new commercial partnership revenue for clients across the UK and internationally, working at the intersection of sports, entertainment, and culture. You will leverage market intelligence, creative brand storytelling, and disciplined prospecting to identify, pitch, and secure high-value global brand partnerships.

Responsibilities

  • Analyze market trends, brand positioning, and sponsorship valuation to inform commercial sales strategies and pitch development.
  • Support sponsorship sales efforts to identify and secure brand partnership opportunities for KLUTCH Sports Group’s roster of clients and properties.
  • Proactively identify, prospect, and execute outbound cold outreach strategies targeting senior decision-makers at brands across the UK and internationally.
  • Leverage existing industry relationships and networks to drive new business opportunities and maintain strong partnerships with brands and properties.
  • Conduct high-level discovery meetings with brand prospects to deeply understand their commercial goals, marketing objectives, target audiences, and KPI structures.
  • Collaborate internally with strategy, creative, and insight teams to translate brand objectives into custom, narrative-driven pitch materials, custom activation concepts, and evidence-backed partnership proposals.
  • Manage opportunities across the full sales cycle - from initial outreach and bespoke deck tailoring to proposal development, commercial negotiation, and contract execution.
  • Assist senior sales executives on complex, multi-million-pound opportunities.
  • Maintain strong ongoing communications with key brand partners and clients, ensuring high-touch relationship management and regular reporting on sales processes.
  • Ensure meticulous tracking and management of all sales leads, outreach activities, contract milestones, and revenue forecasting within Salesforce and CRM tools.
  • Work closely with teams across the US, UK, and internationally, adapting sales propositions and negotiating effectively across different cultural contexts.

Requirements

  • 5+ years of direct experience in sales, business development, or account management within sports marketing, rights holders, media sales, or partnership agencies.
  • Strong comfort level with cold outreach, outbound lead generation, and pitch delivery in high-pressure, target-driven environments.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while managing multiple high-profile deals.
  • Strong understanding of sports marketing, sponsorship valuation, and partnership strategy.
  • Proven ability to translate brand marketing goals into creative, multi-channel partnership models (blending IP, digital assets, content, and activation).
  • Expertise in pitching and proposal development.
  • Proven ability and track record of sourcing, negotiating, and closing high-value sponsorship deals.
  • Exceptional interpersonal and presentation skills, with experience working with both clients and internal teams.
  • Excellent communication skills, with the ability to influence senior executives, key stakeholders, and external client teams.
  • Deep understanding of the UK and European sports marketing ecosystem, brand marketing trends, sponsorship valuation, and emerging asset classes.
  • Established network of brand executives, rights holders, and CRO/CCOs.
  • Proficiency with CRM tools (Salesforce, Google Workspace/Docs, etc.) and Microsoft Office (PowerPoint, Excel) to track sales pipelines, build presentations, and manage deal flow.
