About the Role
Lead an engineering team that builds high-impact internal products using AI-native development practices, while pioneering a platform that enables people across the company to create their own software with AI agents. This role shapes a new engineering discipline, solves problems across the business, and multiplies innovation capacity.
Responsibilities
- Build products that improve internal systems supporting Finance, HR, and Operations.
- Develop tools to help field teams coordinate work, surface operational insights, resolve exceptions, manage resources, and make better decisions in real time.
- Work closely with users to understand their needs and translate them into impactful products.
- Rethink software development using AI coding agents, AI-assisted development, automated testing, and new engineering workflows.
- Lead the development of an AI-powered internal development platform, including integrations, permissions, infrastructure, testing, deployment, and governance.
- Recruit, develop, and lead engineers, defining architecture, standards, operating model, and culture.
- Partner with leadership to identify high-impact opportunities for software and AI.
Requirements
- Exceptional engineering leader with a strong technical foundation and experience building and shipping production software.
- Experience leading engineers, making sound architectural decisions, and delivering dependable systems.
- Actively explores and uses modern AI coding tools and agents.
- Pragmatic systems thinker with understanding of security, permissions, integrations, observability, testing, and maintainability.
- Product thinker who cares about the problem being solved and can turn ambiguous needs into useful products.
- Comfortable with ambiguity, moving between strategy, architecture, hands-on building, and working with business teams.
- An organizational multiplier, excited about enabling others to solve problems independently.
