About the Role

Responsibilities

- Effectively negotiate prices with customers for jewelry purchases or loans, maintaining a fair and transparent approach.
- Demonstrate an in-depth knowledge of various jewelry products, including gemstones, precious metals, and unique designs, to enhance customer satisfaction and sales.
- Handle cash transactions efficiently and responsibly, maintaining accurate records of sales and inventory.
- Comply with all legal and regulatory requirements governing pawn transactions and jewelry sales.
- Collaborate with team members to maintain an organized and visually appealing store display, creating an inviting atmosphere for customers.
- Proactively engage in outreach efforts or marketing initiatives to attract potential customers and increase foot traffic.
- Stay updated on industry trends, market values, and new jewelry designs to provide the best recommendations to customers.
Requirements
- Previous experience in jewelry sales and cash handling is a significant advantage.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to build rapport and trust with customers.
- Extensive knowledge of gemstones, precious metals, and current jewelry market trends.
- Excellent negotiation and problem-solving abilities to handle various customer scenarios.
- Flexibility to work weekends as part of the regular schedule.
- Attention to detail and accuracy in appraisals and financial transactions.
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment while maintaining a customer-focused approach.
