About the Role
Casap is hiring our Founding Product Designer to define how humans and AI agents interact within financial institutions. This role involves establishing new UX patterns, building a design system, and collaborating closely with engineers, customers, and founders to simplify complex workflows without sacrificing accuracy or power. The designer will shadow real users, conceptualize new agent workflows, and create content to guide banks through agentic transformation.
Responsibilities
- Establish patterns for human supervision, correction, and delegation to AI agents in high-stakes environments.
- Rebuild key financial workflows such as provisional credit, evidence gathering, chargeback filing, and merchant response review to significantly reduce processing times.
- Conduct on-site observations with dispute and fraud teams at financial institutions to inform the design of novel agent workflows.
- Produce and present keynotes, board decks, and thought leadership content to educate banks on agentic transformation.
- Collaborate directly with engineers and customers on the design of new flows, from initial problem definition to final polish.
- Utilize Figma, code, or AI tools for rapid prototyping to effectively communicate design ideas.
Requirements
- 6+ years of experience designing and shipping products, with significant experience in enterprise, B2B, or workflow-heavy software.
- Proven experience designing enterprise workflows and a strong interest in reimagining them with agentic AI.
- Direct experience collaborating with engineers and customers on new flow design, with the ability to manage ambiguity.
- Experience building design systems that enhance team productivity, with the ability to articulate their impact.
- Demonstrated ability to design complex, information-dense interfaces while maintaining or improving usability.
- Exceptional craft and systems thinking, with the ability to strategically decide when to use, create, or retire design patterns, and articulate the reasoning behind these decisions.
- Strong storytelling skills in both written and visual communication, with experience presenting to customers, executives, or industry audiences.
- Practical experience integrating AI agents into the design and build process, with the ability to discuss the resulting changes.
