About the Role

As Head of Marketing, you will be responsible for CLYSO's market perception and will develop marketing into a true growth driver for the company. You will set the strategic direction, further develop our brand, and translate our technology, services, and expertise into relevant stories for our target audiences. You will think entrepreneurially, make decisions, and have the ambition not only to plan but also to implement things. You will build structures, develop people, and create marketing that achieves measurable impact.

Responsibilities

Develop CLYSO's marketing strategy and translate company goals into concrete marketing objectives and measures.
Shape and continuously develop our brand, positioning, and communication.
Be responsible for budget, costs, and resources, deciding where investments have the greatest impact for CLYSO.
Build and further develop marketing structures and processes – efficiently, pragmatically, and scalably.
Manage relevant channels, campaigns, and initiatives, ensuring good ideas translate into measurable results.
Define KPIs, analyze performance, and derive concrete decisions and priorities.
Collaborate closely with management, sales, and other teams, actively aligning marketing with business and growth.
Lead, develop, and inspire the marketing team, creating space for autonomy and good ideas.
Identify new trends, tools, and technologies, especially where AI and new digital possibilities make marketing better and more efficient.
Go beyond strategy and actively engage in execution when necessary.

Requirements

Several years of experience in marketing, ideally with responsibility for strategy, budget, and team.
Proven experience in developing and successfully implementing marketing strategies.
Entrepreneurial mindset, understanding marketing as an integral part of the business.
Experience in managing budgets and investments, with a good sense for where effort yields significant returns.
Experience in leading and developing teams, providing both direction and freedom.
Strong strategic thinking combined with hands-on execution capabilities.
Comfort with numbers, KPIs, and performance analysis, with the ability to derive decisions from data.
Interest in technology, digitalization, and AI, and the ability to make complex topics understandable and relevant.
Clear communication skills, curiosity, and the courage to approach things differently.
Very good German and English language skills.
Willingness to work with the team in Munich.
