About the Role
We are looking for an Event Marketing Manager to conceptualize, plan, and execute exciting events in Berlin, Hamburg, Köln, and Munich. Your goal will be to increase our brand awareness and reach, and to enhance the YPOG brand. This position is a temporary replacement for maternity and subsequent parental leave for 18 months, based in Berlin.
Responsibilities
- Independent management, planning, and execution of event formats (conferences, workshops, receptions, webinars, networking events) from conception to success evaluation.
- Conception of event supporting programs in collaboration with specialist departments.
- Invitation management, including creation of registration websites, invitations, and other materials.
- Conception and implementation of event communication measures (LinkedIn, Website, etc.).
- Independent management of internal stakeholders and external service providers before, during, and after events.
- Analysis and success evaluation of events, including derivation of concrete optimization measures and maintenance/development of our CRM system.
- Taking responsibility for event projects with scope for own ideas and creativity, and proactive identification and implementation of improvements throughout the entire event lifecycle.
- Participation in other projects such as film shoots, podcasts, and company-wide projects and initiatives.
- Close collaboration with colleagues in PR, Business Development, Marketing, IT, Workplaces, and legal departments.
Requirements
- Ability to work independently, identify needs early, and proactively drive topics forward.
- Willingness to take responsibility for projects and turn ideas into concrete results.
- Team player with a desire for cross-location collaboration.
- Several years of practical experience in event management.
- Organizational talent and ability to remain calm under pressure.
- Willingness to travel and manage events at our locations in Hamburg, Berlin, Köln, and Munich.
- Strong communication skills, both written and verbal, in German and English.
- A sense for trends, interest in new technologies and digital tools, and enjoyment in implementing new ideas.
- Strong service orientation and ability to delight clients and employees with the brand.
