About the Role

The Business & Tax Advisory team is shaping the future of tax and is looking for experienced Tax professionals to join their team. This role offers the chance to connect to something bigger across KPMG's global network and reimagine business and tax advisory in an environment where people are at the centre of what we do.

Responsibilities

Provide tax and accounting advice and solutions to a diverse portfolio including small to medium sized entities, family and privately owned businesses, trusts and partnerships, foreign subsidiaries and small listed entities.
Further develop technical expertise working across services including tax and accounting compliance and business/tax advisory work for middle market clients.
Play a key role across the full scope of client engagements including regular client contact and attending client presentations and meetings with senior leaders.
Develop into a mentor to assist other less experienced team members and encourage their continued professional development.

Requirements

Over 4 years of post-graduate advisory experience in an accounting firm specializing in Australian tax and accounting services.
Knowledge of common structures and corporate groups, and relevant accounting and tax implications.
An ability to establish and develop effective professional relationships.
Help creating innovative solutions in a changing world of service delivery.

Skills

Fantastic communication to share ideas, inspire, and create change.
Ability to digest, distill, and communicate complex concepts in both written and verbal forms.
Organized, efficient, and high attention to detail to deliver impactful outcomes.
Proactive attitude towards accuracy and deadlines.
Excellent interpersonal, communication and presentation skills.
