About the Role
Crimson Global Academy (CGA) is seeking a part-time, fully remote University Admissions Counselor to guide approximately 200 students in Grades 9-12 through their academic path and university applications worldwide. This role is ideal for a counselor experienced in US, UK, and international pathways, comfortable working flexibly with a global team.
Responsibilities
- Meet regularly one on one with students to plan their academic path, activities, and university goals.
- Teach the Future Ready curriculum, CGA's college and career readiness lessons.
- Help students choose courses that shape a strong high school record and support university plans.
- Guide students in choosing clubs and activities that match their interests and goals.
- Help students research universities and build balanced college lists.
- Support students through the full application process for universities worldwide, including the Common App, the University of California application, and UCAS.
- Track application deadlines and requirements for every student and keep them on schedule.
- Write counselor recommendation letters and submit school documents for students.
- Communicate with families about student progress, plans, and deadlines.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree minimum.
- At least 5 years of experience supporting students with college counseling and advising.
- At least 3 years of experience with the UK curriculum and A Levels, including how A Level choices and results support university goals.
- Strong organization and ability to manage deadlines for a caseload of about 200 students.
- Comfortable working remotely and communicating clearly with students, families, and colleagues across time zones.
- Some early morning or evening availability required for student meetings and classes.
