About the Role
Support the IT infrastructure of a major convenience store chain by managing network design, construction, operation, maintenance, troubleshooting, and improvement proposals. This role involves leading new network environment construction and resolving technical issues.
Responsibilities
- Design and construct network equipment including routers, switches, firewalls, and load balancers.
- Conduct technical reviews, organize requirements, and respond to design and construction for new communication needs.
- Maintain and manage the network environment through configuration changes, troubleshooting, root cause investigation, and performance analysis.
- Perform version upgrades and lifecycle management of network equipment.
- Conduct preliminary investigations, make improvement proposals, and provide technical support based on customer requirements.
- Coordinate technically with vendors and customers.
- Create design specifications, operation procedures, and construction materials.
Requirements
- Basic knowledge of enterprise networks.
- Experience designing and building L2 switches, L3 switches, and routers.
- Experience designing and building firewalls.
- Experience creating technical documents such as design specifications and construction procedure manuals.
- Fluent Japanese, with the ability to communicate complex business issues accurately and smoothly both orally and in writing.
- Conversational English, with basic reading and writing skills for everyday conversations and simple business communications.
