About the Role

As a Lead Consultant, SAP Public Sector Management, you will advise management and senior leadership at public-sector customers, taking a leading role in ensuring successful SAP S/4HANA implementation projects from a business perspective. You will be a key point of contact for project leads, teams, and customer management on complex matters relating to SAP Public Sector Management (PSM), including budget and grant management.

Responsibilities

Advise customers on transforming existing ERP landscapes, focusing on SAP Public Sector Management (PSM) and SAP S/4HANA.
Take responsibility for work packages through all project phases, including solution design, implementation, Customizing, migration, testing, training, go-live, and support.
Provide subject-matter leadership to teams on assigned work packages.
Play a central role in generating and securing new business.
Contribute to bid teams and ensure proposal quality.
Take on full or partial project leadership responsibilities.
Contribute to the development of junior colleagues in SAP Public Sector Management (PSM).

Requirements

Possess a degree in economics, business informatics, computer science, mathematics, or an equivalent qualification.
Have at least seven years of relevant experience designing and implementing SAP solutions for public-sector accounting (FI/PSM/PSCD).
Have taken responsibility for customer relationships and managed project teams.
Developed expert knowledge through multiple customer projects.
Have extensive experience in consulting and providing subject-matter leadership on projects.
Possess outstanding methodological expertise in both traditional and agile project environments.
Have a strong understanding of integrated systems and expert knowledge of implementing and configuring customer-relevant processes in SAP Public Sector Management (PSM), including budget management and grant management.
Have proven experience in a responsible, hands-on role in public-sector implementation projects, including S/4HANA projects, or in Application Management.
Have experience managing or leading projects or workstreams.
Possess knowledge of accounting and public-administration processes.
Possess knowledge of SAP PSM and related modules such as FI/CO, as well as experience with SAP Fiori (UI5).
Have strong market and competitor insight, and an understanding of the latest SAP technologies, including SAP HANA and cloud solutions.
Demonstrate an ability to identify and pursue cross-selling opportunities.
Have a keen interest in advising external customers.
Willingness to travel at least 50–75%, primarily within Germany.
Very good German and English skills (CEFR levels C1 and B2, respectively).
