About the Role

Advise management and senior leadership at public-sector customers on SAP S/4HANA implementation projects, ensuring successful delivery from a business perspective. Serve as a key point of contact for project leads, teams, and customer management on challenging SAP Public Sector Management (PSM) topics, including budget and grant management.

Responsibilities

Advise customers on transforming existing ERP landscapes, focusing on SAP Public Sector Management (PSM), primarily with SAP S/4HANA.
Take responsibility for work packages through all phases of SAP S/4HANA implementation projects or Application Management, including solution design, implementation, Customizing, migration, testing, training, go-live, and support.
Provide subject-matter leadership to teams working on these packages.
Contribute to the development of junior colleagues in SAP Public Sector Management (PSM).

Requirements

Degree in economics, business informatics, computer science, mathematics, or equivalent qualification.
At least five years of relevant experience designing and implementing SAP solutions for public-sector financial management (FI/PSM/PSCD).
Experience managing customer relationships and project teams.
Developed expert knowledge through multiple customer projects.
Strong experience in consulting and providing subject-matter leadership on projects.
Outstanding methodological expertise in traditional and agile project environments.
Strong understanding of integrated systems and expert knowledge of implementing and configuring customer-relevant processes in SAP Public Sector Management (PSM), including budget management and grant management.
Proven experience in a responsible, hands-on role in public-sector implementation projects, including S/4HANA projects, or in Application Management.
Knowledge of accounting and public-administration processes.
Knowledge of SAP PSM and related modules, including FI/CO.
Keen interest in advising external customers.
Very good German skills.
