About the Role
This varied role involves proactively partnering with internal and external stakeholders and navigating complex high-value contracts to deliver sound commercial outcomes.
Responsibilities
- Reviewing customer contracts and requested amendments to reflect the dynamic nature of our sales opportunities
- Providing commercially focused and balanced risk assessments of exposure to Canon in contractual terms both in reviewing contracts and in negotiating final agreements
- Working closely with peers, senior management, our in-house legal team and other key stakeholders to finalise contracts expeditiously
- Undertaking continual improvement actions within the team and across the business to improve the customer contract experience with Canon
Requirements
- Commercially astute and practical, with strong judgement and outstanding interpersonal skills
- Experience in managing sales contract negotiation including reviewing and drafting contractual terms and conditions while collaborating with multiple stakeholders in a fast-paced environment
- Confident working autonomously with well-honed negotiation and influencing skills
- Exposure to drafting and negotiating complex sales, supply and/or service agreements will be highly regarded
- Strong team player who thrives on delivering exceptional commercial outcomes

Skills
- Extensive experience reviewing, drafting and negotiating commercial contracts
- Ability to assess and manage commercial and contractual risk
- Demonstrated negotiation and stakeholder influencing skills
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Experience working in a commercial sales or customer-focused environment
