About the Role
716 Eye Care is seeking a motivated optometrist to join its growing private practice in Fredonia, New York. This is an immediate opportunity for a doctor excited to build their own patient base, grow clinically, and become a meaningful part of the practice and community. The practice is prepared to move quickly for the right candidate and welcomes both experienced optometrists and new graduates interested in future partnership or ownership.
Responsibilities
- Provide comprehensive, patient-centered optometric care.
- Serve approximately 15 patients per day.
- Perform routine and medical eye examinations.
- Diagnose and manage ocular disease.
- Conduct contact lens evaluations.
- Co-manage surgical patients.
- Utilize modern diagnostic technology to support thorough evaluations and monitor ocular health.
- Develop your own patient base and clinical interests.
- Collaborate with an experienced clinical and optical team.
- Contribute to the continued growth of the practice.
Requirements
- Doctor of Optometry (OD) degree from an accredited institution.
- Eligible for or currently licensed to practice optometry in New York State.
- Commitment to providing compassionate, high-quality eye care.
- Strong communication and patient-care skills.
- Dependable, communicative, collaborative, and confident working independently.
- Values a team-oriented environment.
- Willingness to learn, embrace new technology, and contribute ideas.
