About the Role
Build AI-powered systems that help lenders verify invoices, assess risk, and collect payments in the multitrillion-dollar receivables market. Seeking a Founding Engineer who wants meaningful ownership, direct customer involvement, and the opportunity to build complex systems from the ground up. You'll work closely with technical leadership, own products from development through production, and speak directly with the lenders who use them.
Responsibilities
- Own systems end to end, including architecture, implementation, deployment, operating costs, and production reliability.
- Participate in lender onboarding, customer calls, and product expansion.
- Investigate verification failures, identify root causes, and deliver fixes.
- Make technical decisions in an early-stage environment where requirements evolve quickly.
- Take responsibility for production issues, including urgent incidents outside standard hours.
Requirements
- Experience taking a product or system from concept to production and supporting it after launch.
- Strong computer science fundamentals and distributed system design skills.
- A record of building reliable software and solving ambiguous technical problems.
- Experience in financial technology or another heavily regulated industry.
- Experience with production AI agents that perform complex workflows.
- Experience with Voice AI and telephony, including call transfers and context handoffs.
- Experience with search, retrieval, knowledge ingestion, or time-series analysis.
- Comfort working directly with customers.
- Readiness for a demanding, fast-moving, in-person startup environment.
- Must already be authorized to work in the United States.
