About the Role
As a Software Engineer II at Frost, you will be responsible for designing, configuring, testing, implementing, supporting, and documenting solutions for assigned applications across the organization. You will collaborate with project teams and other Software Engineers to provide technical support and troubleshoot defects, always acting with Integrity, Caring, and Excellence.

Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, in a related field, or equivalent experience
- Demonstrated ability to independently identify program issues and develop the appropriate solution, typically requiring at least 2 years of experience
- Strong software engineering experience, including the design, development, testing, and maintenance of scalable applications
- Strong programming experience using Python and/or Java, including API development, microservices architecture, testing, debugging, code reviews, and implementation of best coding practices
- Strong data engineering experience, including SQL development, data pipeline design, data quality management, and integration of data across multiple systems and platforms
- Strong experience with cloud technologies and application deployment, including cloud services, CI/CD pipelines, containerization, monitoring, production support, and operational excellence
- Preferred experience leveraging AI-powered development tools, such as GitHub Copilot, to accelerate software development activities including coding, unit testing, documentation, debugging, and code reviews
- Demonstrated ability to validate AI-generated code for accuracy, security, performance, and maintainability
- Strong understanding of commonly-used concepts, practices, and procedures associated with programming
- Strong collaboration experience with a proven ability to deliver high-quality, reliable, and maintainable code, participate in technical reviews, uphold engineering standards, and support team growth through mentoring and constructive feedback
