About the Role
The Manager Designate works under the General Manager to ensure compliance with company standards for product and customer service. This role involves leadership, decision-making, and instilling accountability in team members, with the goal of developing the competencies required to become a General Manager.
Responsibilities
- Ensures delivered products meet Papa John's standards and accurately reflect customer orders.
- Communicates and promotes quality standards to team members using available tools.
- Recommends performance actions for team members to the General Manager.
- Ensures the team is quality and customer-focused, fostering teamwork, energy, and fun.
- Manages sales goals by providing prompt, friendly customer service and building check averages through product training and sales execution.
- Seeks additional sales through creative local marketing and community presence.
- Manages profit goals by controlling food, labor, and other costs within budget using the PROFIT System.
- Executes administrative and cash management duties.
- Plans and manages inventory levels to meet sales demands and minimize loss.
- Manages company assets by ensuring the restaurant is clean, fully equipped, and all equipment operates properly.
- Ensures the restaurant meets safety and security standards at all times.
