About the Role

The Grounds and Maintenance Coordinator ensures the outdoor areas of The Still Austin Quarter are clean, well-maintained, and guest-ready. This full-time position involves groundskeeping and light maintenance tasks, such as plant care, patio and sidewalk upkeep, and addressing minor facility repairs to support daily operations.

Responsibilities

Own routine upkeep of the grounds and outdoor areas.
Handle light maintenance supporting reliable day-to-day operations.
Coordinate priorities and communicate repair needs and progress.
Maintain safe work practices and escalate repairs beyond the role’s training or scope.

Requirements

Ability to perform routine groundskeeping and basic maintenance tasks.
Practical knowledge of safe tool use.
Ability to recognize when a repair needs specialist support.
Attention to detail, reliability, and the ability to prioritize and complete assigned work.
Ability to communicate maintenance needs.
Ability to work on site in Austin.
Experience in groundskeeping, landscaping, building maintenance, or a similar hands-on role.
Experience maintaining outdoor guest areas at a hospitality property.
Ability to stand and walk outdoors in varying weather and indoors for minor facility repairs.
Ability to bend, kneel, and reach to water landscaping, clean surfaces, and access fixtures.
Ability to use hand tools and maintenance equipment safely for assigned tasks.
