About the Role

Lead and manage structural engineering projects from inception through construction, delivering on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards. Serve as Engineer of Record on assigned projects, particularly the larger and more complex projects in the portfolio. Play an integral role in business development through fee proposals and client relationships. Responsibilities

Serve as the Engineer of Record for all assigned projects, particularly larger and more complex projects.
Oversee the design and production of structural construction documents, ensuring accuracy, code compliance, and quality.
Plan and coordinate project timelines, budgets, and resources with other project managers to ensure timely delivery.
Perform rigorous QA/QC reviews of all engineering work and documentation under your supervision.
Lead and direct engineers in the design and production process, providing guidance and mentorship.
Foster a collaborative team environment where engineers develop and advance their technical and professional skills.
Maintain up-to-date knowledge of industry standards, building codes, and innovative structural engineering practices.
Collaborate with architects, contractors, and other stakeholders to ensure successful execution of structural designs.
Prepare and present structural fee proposals for new projects.
Cultivate new client relationships and strengthen existing partnerships to generate new business.
Participate in networking, marketing, and client outreach to drive company growth.

Requirements

Professional Engineer (PE) license REQUIRED
8+ years of structural engineering design experience REQUIRED
Bachelor's degree in Architectural or Civil Engineering, with an emphasis on structures REQUIRED
Proven experience managing multiple projects and teams
Strong experience overseeing construction document production and performing QA/QC reviews
Expertise in structural analysis and design software such as Revit, RAM Structural System, and RISA
Strong knowledge of building codes and standards such as AISC, ACI, and IBC
Strong communication and interpersonal skills
Structural Engineer (SE) license preferred
Master's degree in Architectural or Civil Engineering preferred
