  • Engage the Board of Directors, Athlete Council, and broader athlete community to support introductions, cultivation, and fundraising opportunities.
  • Lead the development and execution of Laureus USA’s individual giving strategy, with a focus on building and growing high-net-worth donor support.
  • Identify and pursue opportunities to expand the individual donor pipeline and increase donor retention and giving over time.
  • Develop compelling cases for support and engagement strategies tailored to individual donors.
  • Establish systems and approaches that support sustained growth in individual philanthropy.
  • Lead Laureus USA’s foundation and corporate fundraising efforts, including stewardship of existing funders and development of new partnerships.
  • Identify and cultivate prospective foundation and corporate partners whose priorities align with Laureus USA’s mission and strategic goals.
  • Oversee grant proposals, funding requests, and partnership agreements, working with the Executive Director and relevant staff.
  • Manage existing grant and partnership commitments, coordinating with Programs and Finance to ensure timely reporting, accurate budgets, and fulfillment of funder requirements.
  • Develop strategies for grant renewals, expanded funding, and longer-term foundation and corporate partnerships.
  • Lead the fundraising strategy for cultivation events and major fundraising moments, establishing clear goals and plans for donor engagement.
  • Support event planning and execution in partnership with the broader team.

  • Provide regular feedback and support professional development and performance management.
  • Coordinate team workloads and build a collaborative environment with clear accountability for results.
  • Serve as a member of Laureus USA’s national and city-based leadership team, contributing to organizational strategy, planning, and decision-making.
