About the Role

The Treasury Analyst keeps cash moving across Orion's network of operating companies, from the weekly forecasting cycle through banking, payments, and lender reporting. This role sits on the Platform Treasury team and reports to the VP, Finance, Platform Treasury. You will serve two groups of clients: operating companies who rely on you for forecasting and working capital management, and platform leadership who rely on you for a clear group-level view of cash, banking platform administration, and acquisition funding support. This is a hands-on role with real ownership that blends recurring cycles with project work and continuous improvement.

Responsibilities

  • Help run the weekly and monthly cash forecasting cycle with operating companies and onboard newly acquired companies.
  • Assist in building the group-level cash forecast and weekly cash report, and track forecast accuracy.
  • Monitor OpCo cash balances against targets and support the weekly cash sweep.
  • Support administration of the banking platform, including user access and bank account updates.
  • Prepare wires for review and approval, and support acquisition funding and post-close payments.
  • Help prepare quarterly lender reporting packages, track liquidity and leverage, and forecast interest and other debt payments.
  • Partner with OpCos to investigate net working capital shortfalls and support continuous improvement.
  • Help maintain legal entity and bank account records, entity compliance, and treasury procedures.
  • Take on ad hoc analysis as priorities arise.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in finance, accounting, economics, or a related field.
  • 1-3 years of experience in treasury, corporate finance, FP&A, or public accounting, including relevant internships.
  • Solid Excel and data skills with a desire to grow them, including building models and using AI tools for automation.
  • Exposure to J.P. Morgan Access or another commercial banking platform is a plus.
  • Familiarity with Workday Adaptive Planning or another planning tool, and a multi-entity ERP such as Sage Intacct, is a plus.
  • Background in a multi-entity, acquisitive, or private equity-backed company is a plus.
  • Interest in or exposure to leveraged finance, credit agreements, lender reporting, or foreign currency cash management is a plus.
  • CTP or CPA, or progress toward either, is a plus, not a requirement.
