About the Role
Our Financial Planning Associate assists Financial Advisors, Senior Financial Advisors, Executives, Operations Team, and Partners with daily tasks and projects related to client financial planning and investment management. This role also involves client services such as processing paperwork, moving money, creating agreements, and onboarding clients. There is an opportunity for growth and development within the firm.
Responsibilities
- Trading and rebalancing portfolios.
- Creating financial plans.
- Attending meetings with advisors to assist clients.
- Answering client questions via email or telephone.
- Assisting with various financial planning related projects.
- Assisting with client paperwork, account opening, money movements, and distributions.
- Participating in company committee meetings (financial planning committee, investment management committee).
- Assisting team members with workload balancing as needed.
Requirements
- A mature, positive, friendly, outgoing personality.
- A willingness to help others; clients, co-workers……. anyone!
- A thirst to learn.
- Excellent organizational skills; ability to multi-task.
- Strong focus on details to ensure things are done right the first time.
- Proficiency and comfort with technology, including MS Office, CRM software and cloud-based applications.
- The ability to type with excellent proficiency.
