About the Role

MUFG is seeking a Lead Senior Audio-Visual Engineer to serve as the firm’s enterprise AV authority and lead systems integrator. This role involves leading enterprise AV architecture and standards, executive rooms, IPTV, and collaboration spaces, as well as observability, automation, and data extraction for the AV/UC estate. The successful candidate will translate multi-stakeholder discussions into clear requirements, design recommendations, and supportable production standards for a global enterprise.

Responsibilities

  • Act as the authoritative AV SME on complex stakeholder calls, de-escalating competing viewpoints, running structured discovery, and capturing business and technical requirements.
  • Enhance the full AV room and platform lifecycle from concept through decommissioning, ensuring designs are supportable after handoff.
  • Define and govern enterprise AV standards and reference designs for various spaces, including power/data/conduit requirements, acoustics, and placement.
  • Serve as MUFG’s lead systems integrator across vendors and platforms, driving interoperability across collaboration endpoints and adjacent enterprise systems.
  • Architect observability and automation for the AV/UC estate using platform telemetry, APIs, and management portals to produce actionable dashboards.
  • Design future-state conference rooms with measurable hybrid-meeting outcomes, incorporating AI-assisted capabilities.
  • Provide clean transition to operations by delivering SOPs, runbooks, commissioning evidence, and clear RASCI boundaries.
  • Mentor junior engineers and raise engineering quality through design reviews, standards enforcement, and practical coaching.
  • Support executive and mission-critical spaces where service quality, resilience, and risk sensitivity are materially higher than standard meeting spaces.

Requirements

  • Deep hands-on expertise with Cisco Control Hub, Cisco collaboration devices running Microsoft Teams Rooms mode, Microsoft Teams / Teams Rooms, IPTV / digital signage platforms, Utelogy, and enterprise AV monitoring/management systems.
  • Strong capability in automation, scripting, APIs, and dashboarding for AV/UC operations.
  • Strong knowledge of software-defined / networked AV and AV-as-a-platform design.
  • Demonstrated experience creating engineering-quality documentation and visual design artifacts.
  • Experience with testing, commissioning, validation, and operational turnover in enterprise AV environments.
  • Practical understanding of how AI is reshaping enterprise AV engineering.
  • Experience operating in large enterprises and financially regulated or equivalently controlled environments.
  • Strong vendor/integrator leadership skills.
  • AVIXA CTS preferred; CTS-D strongly preferred.
  • Relevant platform certifications in Teams Rooms, Cisco/Webex devices, and major DSP/control ecosystems are a plus.
