About the Role
BAE Systems is seeking a Software Engineer to join their Austin, Texas team, developing Next Generation Electronic Systems Products and Solutions. This role involves designing and writing real-time embedded software for fielded electronics platforms, contributing to critical mission capabilities for national security and defense customers.
Responsibilities
- Design and write software for critical mission capabilities.
- Develop high-quality, real-time embedded software for fielded electronics platforms.
- Work across multiple disciplines and collaborate with Systems, Hardware and Test Engineers.
- Impact all phases of the Software Development Lifecycle.
- Take on diverse and challenging work assignments.
Requirements
- 2+ Years of Professional Experience
- Bachelors Degree in an Engineering Field
- Ability to obtain a Secret Clearance
- Experience with C/C++, Python, Gitlab, and CI/CD
- Experience in Software Development in Linux
- Experience in Hands on Integrating Testing of Electronic systems
- Experience developing Software on an Agile team
