About the Role
Seeking an experienced and dependable Phlebotomist to perform daily functions within the Phlebotomy and Accessioning areas, including collecting blood specimens, performing data entry, receiving and processing specimens, and providing laboratory support. The role requires maintaining accurate specimen identification and processing while ensuring compliance with policies and procedures.
Responsibilities
- Collect blood specimens from inpatient and outpatient populations.
- Perform data entry.
- Receive, handle, accession, and centrifuge specimens.
- Provide other laboratory support services as required.
- Maintain accurate specimen identification and processing.
- Ensure compliance with established laboratory policies and procedures.
Requirements
- One-year relevant patient blood drawing experience, including pediatric sticks.
