About the Role
Mercedes-Benz of Smithtown is seeking passionate Auto-Technicians to join their busy and productive team. The role involves diagnosing and repairing complex mechanical and electrical issues on Mercedes-Benz vehicles, performing routine maintenance, and ensuring high-quality customer care. Technicians have the opportunity to control their own earnings potential through performance-based incentives and professional development.
Responsibilities
- Diagnose and repair complex mechanical and electrical problems on Mercedes-Benz vehicles.
- Use specialized diagnostic equipment and tools to identify and troubleshoot issues.
- Perform routine maintenance tasks according to Mercedes-Benz guidelines.
- Stay up-to-date on the latest technical information and procedures for Mercedes-Benz vehicles.
- Communicate effectively with customers and service advisors regarding repairs.
- Maintain accurate records of all work performed.
- Ensure all work meets Mercedes-Benz quality standards and safety regulations.
- Collaborate with the service team to meet customer needs efficiently.
- Participate in continuous improvement activities to enhance service quality.
- Adhere to dealership policies and procedures.
Requirements
- Looking for all levels of technician experience (A, B and C level).
- Strong teamwork skills.
- Must have a clean & valid driver's license.
