About the Role

This 12-month maternity cover position involves joining a high-performing marketing team to drive brand presence and execute the event strategy across UK, Ireland, and European markets. Responsibilities

  • Lead and execute the end-to-end events strategy across UK, Ireland and international markets, spanning external industry conferences, partner events, webinars and in-house roundtables.
  • Seamlessly manage diverse event formats and sponsorship activations, including keynote presentations, expert panel sessions, fireside chats, webinars and exhibition stands.
  • Oversee all event operations, merchandise, shipping, couriers and on-site setup, partnering with a fulfilment agency to streamline supply chain and logistics execution.
  • Collaborate with internal subject matter experts, commercial leads and senior industry stakeholders to produce compelling speaker briefs, presentation content and messaging.
  • Drive lead generation, capture and segment routing using HubSpot, ensuring clean data transfer, passing sales-ready leads to the Commercial team and building nurturing workflows.
  • Execute multi-touch outbound and email campaigns alongside events to drive registration, pre-event buzz and post-event momentum.
  • Track, measure and report on campaign and event performance using HubSpot and analytics tools, continually optimising conversion metrics, cost-per-lead and pipeline impact.
  • Build strong relationships with event organisers, vendors and partners while maintaining strict ownership of the agreed event budgets.

Requirements

  • Proven track record in an events and outbound marketing role, ideally within regulated B2B health tech, MedTech, digital health or the NHS ecosystem.
  • Hands-on experience using HubSpot (or equivalent CRM/Marketing Automation tools) to manage lead capture, pipeline scoring, routing to sales and campaign attribution.
  • Demonstrated experience handling multi-format sponsorships (booths, panels, speaking slots, webinars) and managing event operations, merch, and fulfilment agency relationships.
  • Exceptional written and verbal communication, with the ability to brief executive speakers, engage senior clinicians and write persuasive campaign copy.
  • Comfortable working under pressure, managing multiple concurrent event timelines and making data-backed decisions to demonstrate ROI.
  • Strong understanding of GDPR and data privacy standards in customer acquisition.
