About the Role

Join Hawk-Eye and be part of an exciting journey through the world of sports events. Our operations teams play a crucial role in delivering high-quality experiences at major sporting events worldwide, with opportunities to explore technical, creative, operations, projects, and broadcast production areas.

Responsibilities

Install and set up Hawk-Eye hardware, including cameras, cables, and networking devices, in the build-up to tournaments.
Calibrate the system and perform pre-match checks.
Liaise with key stakeholders, including broadcasters and TV directors, to deliver optimal creative and broadcast impact.
Liaise with match officials, tournament stakeholders, organisers, and third parties to ensure all contractual obligations are delivered seamlessly.
Monitor and operate Hawk-Eye ball tracking and broadcast systems across one or more courts during live match play.
Apply knowledge of tracking theory and system behaviour to ensure high-quality tracking output.
Set up, operate, and monitor systems, ensuring accurate data delivery throughout matches.
Manage and deliver video review challenges in line with officiating requirements, including communication with Review Officials.
Assist with 'SMART Production' broadcast delivery at tennis events.
Provide quick and effective resolution of technical issues, identifying when to escalate or seek support.
Communicate effectively with supervisors and wider operational teams to ensure smooth match delivery and coordination across courts.
Support and collaborate with team members, contributing to the development of less experienced operators.
Complete all pre and post-match operational processes to ensure system readiness and accurate reporting.
Maintain a strong understanding of key tracking and operational software and apply this knowledge in live environments.
Demonstrate an understanding of high-quality vs. poor tracking output and proactively make adjustments to maintain performance standards.
Contribute to the research and development of new projects and operational improvements.
Maintain and upkeep the kit and equipment required to operate the system.
