About the Role
We are building a more connected, commercially focused Treasury function by bringing together expertise following the acquisition of Legend by Genius Sports. This role offers an opportunity to rethink how we manage liquidity, financial risk, and the value of our cash within a growing international business.
Responsibilities
- Take ownership of short-term liquidity forecasting, focusing on building and improving cashflow forecasts.
- Analyze trends and variances, providing the business with a clear picture of its cash position and future funding needs.
- Monitor FX and interest-rate exposures and support hedging activities.
- Evaluate financial risks to aid informed decisions regarding debt, liquidity, and financial commitments.
- Manage covenant calculations, compliance monitoring, and lender reporting.
- Support the management of banking relationships, cash positioning, funding arrangements, and treasury transactions.
- Improve the capture, analysis, and reporting of financial information within Treasury.
- Strengthen forecasting, introduce automation, and develop more efficient, scalable treasury processes.
- Translate complex financial information into meaningful insights for senior Finance stakeholders.
- Support key decisions and take ownership when it matters.
Requirements
- A background in corporate treasury, fund treasury, fiduciary services, banking, or a similar environment.
- Broad exposure to cash management, liquidity, and financial risk.
- Experience working with complex datasets and building financial models.
- Experience using advanced Excel to create clear, reliable forecasts and insights from multiple data sources.
- Practical knowledge of FX, interest-rate risk, and treasury products.
- Ability to assess exposures and understand appropriate risk management approaches.
- Knowledge of banking arrangements, cash management, funding activities, and financial governance, ideally within a complex or multi-entity environment.
- Confidence working with financial systems and reporting tools.
- Comfortable working independently and collaborating with senior stakeholders.
- Ability to navigate changing priorities in a fast-moving business.
