About the Role
Atoms is building Physical AI—real-world robots for industries like food, mining, and transport. This role will set the HR technology strategy, own the Workday roadmap, and build new capabilities to support the company's global scaling. You will optimize the current system, own the integration layer, and lead and grow the HRIS team.
Responsibilities
- Set the HR technology strategy.
- Own the Workday roadmap, deciding on module additions/retirements, system integrations, and build vs. partner decisions.
- Design and deliver forward-looking Workday modules and capabilities for global scaling.
- Optimize the current Workday system by auditing the tenant, closing configuration gaps, and driving adoption.
- Architect and maintain integrations between Workday and surrounding systems using Workday Studio, EIB, Core Connectors, and APIs.
- Configure business processes, security, calculated fields, and reporting.
- Manage two lead configuration analysts and a manager leading integrations and configuration support.
- Own Workday release management for biannual updates, data integrity, security, and audit readiness.
- Evaluate Workday's AI and data capabilities for potential adoption.
Requirements
- 8+ years of HRIS experience with Workday as the primary platform.
- Hands-on implementation and configuration experience, including standing up new Workday modules.
- Experience building and owning integrations into Workday using Workday Studio, EIB, Core Connectors, and APIs.
- Experience growing HR systems through significant scale (hundreds to thousands of employees), ideally across multiple countries.
- Career blend of implementation consulting/partner-side work and in-house roles, ideally at both large and high-growth companies.
- Experience leading a team, including distributed or offshore members.
- Comfortable directing implementation partners.
- Ability to perform deep configuration and engage in strategy conversations with senior leaders.

Salary/Compensations
- $200,000 - $250,000 per year
