This role focuses on the intelligence layer, advancing computer vision and AI systems to shipped prototypes that users can rely on. You’ll join a small, impact-driven team building cutting-edge CV/ML solutions to enable faster, smarter construction workflows.
Responsibilities
- Focus on the intelligence layer rather than the application layer.
- Apply the newest computer vision, LLM models, and AI systems.
- Ship initial prototypes quickly and improve them based on user feedback.
Requirements
- US citizenship required.
- Visa sponsorship is not available.
- Applied CV/ML experience with Python, machine learning, deep learning, and computer vision.
- 0-to-1 builder with AI in production experience.
- Growth mindset and a willingness to tackle challenging problems.
- Strong communication with empathy and honesty about what’s working or not.
- Comfortable with “schlep” work as part of building early-stage products.
- SF-based or willing to relocate.
- Full-time in-office.
- Deep involvement with computer vision object detection and coordinating ML models; emphasis on intelligence-side R&D over application-layer work.
