About the Role
This role involves delivering Hawk-Eye technology across elite-level sporting events globally. You will play a crucial part in maintaining excellence in current sports and helping to deliver innovative solutions to new clients within the agile Growth Sports department.
Responsibilities
- Liaise with key stakeholders such as broadcast personnel, match officials, and teams.
- Take ownership of the Hawk-Eye system on-site and represent the company professionally.
- Set up Tracking and SMART Replay technologies at venues worldwide, which may involve physically demanding work.
- Conduct thorough pre-match system checks to ensure efficient operation.
- Monitor and operate Hawk-Eye technologies during matches.
- Monitor hardware and software performance, troubleshooting any issues.
- Adapt quickly to operational changes across on-site, office-based, and remote environments.
- Apply technical knowledge to new sports, systems, and teams.
- Complete detailed post-match reports to enhance future operations and client satisfaction.
- Build and maintain hardware and equipment during off-seasons.
- Aid with research and development into new projects and technologies.
Requirements
- Must be currently studying towards an undergraduate degree.
- Comfortable with the unpredictability of scaling up new sports at short notice.
- Willingness to work weekends and midweek evenings.
- Willingness to spend periods of the year working throughout Europe and internationally.
- Ability to perform under pressure in a live broadcast environment.
