About the Role
We create impactful work for major brands like UNICEF, TD, and Samsung. Your role is to craft compelling video content that captures attention within the first few seconds across various social media platforms and digital ad formats.
Responsibilities
- Edit digital and social content across all platforms and placements.
- Cut OLVs, pre-roll, and bumpers, focusing on early engagement, brand messaging, and runtime adherence.
- Shape influencer and creator footage into brand-aligned content that maintains creator authenticity.
- Create multiple versions, lengths, and aspect ratios of edits without compromising the core concept.
- Collaborate directly with creatives and producers on pacing, structure, and storytelling.
- Manage multiple projects and edits simultaneously, prioritizing tasks and flagging potential risks.
- Take ownership of files, exports, specifications, and timelines.
- Utilize AI tools for tasks such as assembly, transcription, cleanup, and versioning to enhance efficiency and focus on creative craft.
Requirements
- 3+ years of experience in video editing (agency, production house, in-house, or creator side).
- Demonstrated editorial instinct with the ability to identify key moments in footage.
- Fluency in platform-specific content behaviors (TikTok, Reels, YouTube).
- Proficiency in Premiere Pro.
- Sufficient knowledge of After Effects and Photoshop for editing tasks.
- Strong self-organization skills to manage multiple concurrent edits.
- Curiosity about AI tools and the judgment to apply them effectively.
- A strong visual aesthetic, sense of style, and taste in references.
- An ear for audio, with the ability to cut to music and leverage its impact.
- Knowledge of video specifications, formats, aspect ratios, transcoding, and delivery processes.
- A portfolio reel showcasing diverse editing styles and range.
